Check the Sender Before Blaming Email

A 4 October change narrows sender verification.

Salesforce’s retirement notice for Marketing Cloud Engagement covers organisations that created User Domains on or after 1 February 2026 without an account-verified domain. From 4 October 2026, adding a From Address on an unverified domain produces an error rather than an email verification request.

Before adding a sender, compare its domain with the account’s verified-domain list. If absent, Salesforce documents Registered Domain, Private Domain and Sender Authentication Package routes. Allow for setup time.

From Addresses already in place require no change. The notice concerns sender verification, rather than a general email-sending outage.
