Office LTSC 2021 Support Ends on 13 October
Microsoft’s dedicated announcement, last updated 23 April 2026, says Office LTSC 2021 support ends 13 October 2026. Technical support, bug fixes and security updates then stop. The installed product may still run.
List installed editions and owners, then check critical add-ins and documents. Microsoft names Microsoft 365 Apps and Office LTSC 2024 as upgrade routes. Test compatibility before cutover; neither route is verified for a reader here.
The Office support table also says 13 October. The product lifecycle table displays 14 October at 06:59:59 Pacific Time. These pages do not explain the difference. Plan for the earlier date without claiming an exact cut-off hour.
